Lodging
The guesthouse we will be staying in, is very clean. No need to bring sleeping bags or mosquito nets, as all the beds have very large nets over them. Same thing with the safari camp- clean bedding and nets and lots of bottled water. Maybe bring a pair of earplugs if you are sensative to your neighbours snoring
Meals
Breakfast and dinner will be provided at the guesthouse. We will have use of their kitchen facilities to make a packed lunch that we will take to the build site. A few of us will need to do a grocery shop for these items. The guesthouse is providing us with lunch boxes and a cooler. IMPORTANT- any dietary issues or food allergies we should know about that we need to pass on to them? Please let me know.
Water
Water
Do we need purification tablets etc? No-
We will be provided with as much bottled water as we need at the build, as well as the guesthouse. No one experienced any problems last year where we drank bottled water, and the cooking was done with water from a borehole, which was perfectly safe, though a bit silty.
It is recommended that you not ingest the tap water though, not even to brush your teeth.
