We are honoured to be going back to this place that holds a special place in our hearts, so moved that not only do we have so many return volunteers, but also that there are five new people joining us!
No matter if this is your first build, your third (or more) , it is my sincere hope that it is a memorable journey for each one of you, and that you leave it much enriched by the experience, and longing to go back again.
This is an amazing opportunity to help families and vulnerable children in a fascinating land. Experience Africa in a unique way as we immerse ourselves in a community of dedicated Zambian people to assist them in building safe and decent housing. No construction experience is needed. This trip is for people with open minds and the desire to be part of a team providing a hand up to those in need.
Team Leader
Peggy Bell - Calgary, Canada, and this will be her 5th Global Village build. Previous builds have been in Zambia ( three times) and Vietnam. She is a volunteer with the local Habitat affiliate in Calgary, and looks forward to working with another great team, some of who are returning to Zambia for the second and third time, and best of all, are bringing new family and friends to experience an amazing trip.
